Guided operations

With "Guided operations", Match! has become even more user-friendly, especially for beginners:

Main tasks like phase analysis, degree of crystallinity calculation or crystallite size estimation are now available as dedicated buttons in the central area of the toolbar (yellow/orange background) at the top of the Match! window:

These buttons in the toolbar at the top can be used to rapidly access the most important tasks.

Pressing one of these buttons runs the corresponding analysis task as automatically as possible.

If Match! cannot perform the desired task completely on its own (like the selection of restraints or matching phases), the user is given detailed instructions for the operations required ("guided operations") in a new area with light-green background at the top, and is then asked to manually accomplish the task. The user finally indicates the completion of the task by pressing a corresponding "Confirm" button.

It is important to note that the user is not bound to the operations suggested by the "guided operations" panel! Instead, he is free to ignore the suggestions and use the full functionality of Match!, just like without "guided operations".

Here are two screenshots showing the instructions given by Match! to select the elements that could be present in the sample, as well as to select the next matching phase during qualitative analysis. Mind the instructions at the top with the light-green background:

"Guided operations" are by default active in the "Beginner" user level. If you are using a different user level (maybe "Expert"), you can activate them on the "General" or "Automatic" page of the "Options" window.
