Match! Update Day: New versions 3.0.2, 2.4.6 and 1.11i

Today we have released new releases for all three Match! versions (1, 2 and 3): Match! version 3.0.2, 2.4.6 and 1.11i are basically maintenance releases, providing a few minor improvements as well as bug fixes.

Match! 3.0.2

The following improvements and bug fixes have been implemented in Match! 3.0.2:

• The peak searching algorithm has been slightly improved.
• Automatic divergence slit data are automatically converted into fixed slit data if corresponding diffraction data are imported from XRDML-files.
• Several bugs have been fixed:
  • Undo/redo sometimes caused unexpected results if zooming or tracking operations were performed before.
  • Due to a bug it was no longer possible to zoom in by double-clicking in the diffraction pattern.
  • A bug has been fixed that caused a problem in background calculation if the maximum intensity value of the profile data was below 5.0.
  • Some minor bugs have been fixed as well.

Match! version 3 users should download and install the new version 3.0.2 from here.

Match! 2.4.6

Several bugs have been fixed in Match! 2.4.6:

• A bug causing the default wavelength not to be applied when Match! has just been started has been fixed.
• Another bug that caused a problem in background calculation if the absolute intensity value of the profile data was below 5.0 has been resolved as well.
• Some minor bugs have been fixed.

Match! version 2 users should download and install the new version 2.4.6 from here.

Please note that the online update function of version 2.4.5 leads you to the download page of version 3 by mistake, due to the fact that version 3 was not available yet when 2.4.5 was released. Please advance to the new update page of version 2 instead.

Match! 1.11i

Even for Match! version 1 an update has become available, basically providing a fix for the problem that most recent COD reference databases could not be used with Match! version 1.

Match! version 1 users should either use the online update function or download and install the new version 1.11i from here.
